At Green Gulch Ranch, we like to share some of our favorite recipes that go great with our Red Angus beef packages. For those who are thinking about purchasing some of our premium, grain fed, grass finished beef offerings, here is a restaurant quality recipe that incorporates our ranch raised ground beef. It will be sure to make mouths water and give an irresistible aroma. We hope those that follow this simple recipe enjoys this tasty burger that is perfect for any occasion and will take anyone’s breath away.

What ingredients are Needed?

• Green Gulch Ranch Red Angus Ground Beef
• Bacon (optional)
• Any Cheese of your choice (we prefer Gouda)
• Onion (Optional)
• Garlic Powder
• Salt and Pepper to taste
• Burger Bun

Prep time:

• about 5 minutes for prep
• about 15 – 20 minutes to cook

Directions:

1. Form burger patties with the Green Gulch ground beef and season them.
2. Step three and four are optional.
3. In a large skillet, cook bacon.
4. Once bacon is cooked, remove from skillet and leave the fat from bacon.
5. Place patties on skillet on medium-high heat and let them cook for at least 3 minutes on each side.
6. (Optional) add onion slices to skillet and sauté next to patty.
7. Once it has been cooked to desired temperature, flip the patty to cook on the other side and add cheese on top of the patty (Optional: add bacon and sautéed onions under cheese).
8. Once it has been cooked, remove from skillet and place on bun. (Toasting the bun on another skillet is recommended.)
9. Garnish with other desired toppings if needed and the burger is ready to be eaten.
